When I was a teenager, I would go to the horse races with my grandfather. My grandfather would watch the horses as the trainers would bring them out to line them up for the race. He would point to the one he believed would win. I thought to myself, how he can tell just by looking at a horse if he would win. I learned later on in life there are different bred of horses. It’s never a coincidence that a horse becomes a champion. Not if it’s a thoroughbred

They have generations after generations of winners on the inside. These horses have been carefully studied and bred for generations. The breeders, trainers, and veterinarians do extensive work and go back over 50 or 60 years to check the animal’s bloodline.

They will research the horse’s lineage. They will research how the father fared as a racer, how long was his stride, his size, how fast was he. The breeder is looking for one thing. They know that winning is in the blood. If they find one drop of thoroughbred blood in that horse, they know he is a winner. Why? Winning is on the inside, it’s in the blood.

Now, I have said all that to say this, which is exactly how God looks at you and me. What’s on the outside is irrelevant. It doesn’t matter what color your hair or skin is. It doesn’t matter what your social status is or your size. You have the blood of the Almighty God inside of you and you were born to win.

You were born for greatness! You are not just an ordinary person anymore. When you accept Jesus into your heart, whatever your preexisting conditions may be, you need to know that inside of you flows the blood of a winner. You are destined for greatness. You are the seed of the Almighty God.
